The Soprano philosophy · Regenerative First™

Begin with the skin.
Build from there.

Regenerative First™ places skin health at the beginning of the conversation. Before considering changes to shape or volume, we explore the condition of your skin, what matters to you and the care it may need.

Sunekos is our main injectable focus for this skin-remodelling approach. It combines hyaluronic acid with six amino acids and is designed to support the skin’s extracellular matrix, including collagen and elastin. The aim is to address skin quality; it is not a structural filler for reshaping a feature.

Your plan may include skin care, Sunekos or another approach. We explain what is supported by clinical evidence, what remains emerging research and where treatment has limits. Regenerative First™ describes our philosophy of care, rather than a promise of guaranteed regeneration.

Your skin-remodelling options

Sunekos first.
Choice, considered.

Both treatments belong in a conversation about skin quality. Their formulations and plans differ, and neither is automatically right for every person.

01

Sunekos

Our main focus for skin remodelling. Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids and is considered within our Regenerative First™ approach to skin quality. Your assessment explores concerns such as facial or neck texture, alongside your wider skin-care plan.

02

Profhilo

A different hyaluronic acid injectable used for skin-remodelling treatment. It remains an option to discuss, particularly if you have had it previously and want to review your ongoing care. We explain the formulation, schedule, expected benefits and limits before any decision.

Your next steps

Understand.
Plan. Review.

A considered starting point, with time to understand the choices. You do not need to arrive knowing which treatment to book.

01

Skin health assessment

Start with a conversation about your skin, concerns and current routine. Advanced digital skin analysis can help inform the wider picture, with a clinician consultation where an injectable treatment is being considered.

02

An individual plan

Your clinician checks your medical history and suitability, then explains the proposed Sunekos product, treatment areas, number of appointments, intervals, alternatives and total cost. The schedule is agreed with you, not assumed from an online guide.

03

Review & ongoing care

Aftercare and review form part of the plan. We discuss how to judge your response and whether further treatment is appropriate, alongside a sustainable skin-care routine.

& fees.

These guide fees were checked against Soprano’s Phorest booking catalogue on 11 October 2026. Your clinician confirms the area, proposed course and full cost before you decide.

A consultation may lead to advice, a different approach or no treatment. The first-treatment price is not a quote for a complete course.

An informed choice

Benefits, limitations
and the things to know.

Possible effects include temporary injection-site bumps, redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising. Infection, allergic or delayed reactions and other injection-related complications are possible. Your clinician explains product-specific precautions and signs requiring prompt advice. Treatment is not risk-free, and a claim of no downtime would be misleading.

Follow the personalised aftercare you receive. Contact the clinic promptly about an unexpected change; seek urgent medical help for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms or any change in vision. Do not alter prescribed medicines without advice from the clinician responsible for them.

NHS advice on choosing a practitioner

Your questions

Let’s make
things clear.

Sunekos, Profhilo and the decisions behind your skin-health plan.

What is Sunekos?

Sunekos is an injectable treatment combining hyaluronic acid and amino acids. At Soprano, we consider it within a plan focused on skin quality, rather than using it to create the structural projection associated with a contouring filler.

What does Regenerative First™ mean at Soprano?

It means starting with skin health before considering enhancement. We assess your concerns and discuss the role of skin care, digital skin analysis and suitable treatments. It does not mean everyone needs injections, or that every concern can be addressed with the same product.

How is Sunekos different from Profhilo?

Both are discussed in the context of injectable skin-quality treatments. Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids; Profhilo is a different hyaluronic acid formulation. Their products and treatment plans are not interchangeable. Sunekos is now our main focus for skin remodelling, while Profhilo remains an option to discuss where appropriate. Neither is automatically the best choice for everyone.

I have had Profhilo before. Can I discuss Sunekos?

Yes. Tell your clinician what you have had, which areas were treated, when treatment took place and how your skin responded. We can review the options without assuming you need to switch or that one product will give a better result.

How many Sunekos appointments will I need?

A course may be recommended, but the number and spacing of appointments depend on the product selected, the area and your assessment. We explain the proposed schedule and total cost before treatment. A Profhilo schedule should not simply be applied to Sunekos.

When will I see a change, and how long will it last?

Response and timing vary. Your clinician will discuss realistic expectations for the proposed product and arrange review where appropriate. Results are not guaranteed or permanent, and maintenance should be considered in light of your response rather than treated as an automatic commitment.

Does Sunekos replace filler or a surgical lift?

No. Skin quality, facial volume and significant tissue laxity are different concerns. We explain the limits of non-surgical treatment and may recommend another approach, further advice or no treatment.

Can it be combined with skin treatments, laser or IPL?

These may form part of a wider plan when they address different concerns. Combination treatment is not automatically suitable, and appointment timing and recovery need to be planned. Explore laser & IPL skin treatments with Harmony XL Pro or discuss your priorities at a skin health assessment.

Is there downtime, and what are the risks?

Temporary injection-site bumps, redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur. Infection, allergic or delayed reactions and other injection-related complications are possible. Allow time around important events and follow the aftercare you receive. Read the risks and aftercare section above, and contact the clinic about an unexpected change.

How much do Sunekos and Profhilo cost in Edinburgh?

The Phorest catalogue lists Sunekos for the face or neck at £400 for the first treatment and £250 for a subsequent treatment. Profhilo is listed at £300 per session. An aesthetic consultation is £50, redeemable against treatment. These are individual appointment fees; your full course and any additional areas are quoted after assessment. Check our current price list before booking.

What does the evidence say?

Laboratory research explores the proposed biological mechanisms, while early clinical studies report changes in skin quality. A small 2022 pilot study of Sunekos Performa included ten women and had no comparison group. It cannot establish superiority over Profhilo or guarantee an individual result. Manufacturer information explains the formulation and its rationale; we distinguish those claims from independent clinical evidence.
