Understand the approach

Technology with a lighter touch.

Elemis Biotec combines hands-on facial care with technologies chosen to suit your skin. It can be a useful option for dullness, surface dryness, uneven texture or a complexion that feels in need of attention.

Your facial is tailored after consultation. The aim is comfortable, well-cared-for skin and a fresher appearance; the combination of techniques matters more than using every function in one appointment.

The details that matter

Your options,
clearly explained.

01

Exfoliate & refine

Ultrasonic exfoliation helps lift surface dead skin and impurities. Your practitioner decides how much exfoliation your skin needs.

02

Hydrate & refresh

Galvanic technology and the oxygenator can be selected alongside Elemis products, with an emphasis on hydration and comfort.

03

Tone & complement

Microcurrent and light therapy form part of the Biotec toolkit. Their use depends on your goals, suitability and the facial plan.

Before you decide

Your questions,
thoughtfully answered.

Practical information about elemis biotec facials, preparation and the care that follows. Your practitioner will tailor advice to you at your appointment.

What is an Elemis Biotec facial?

It is a professional facial that combines Elemis products and hands-on care with selected device technologies. Soprano’s Biotec approach includes ultrasonic exfoliation, galvanic technology, microcurrent, light therapy and an oxygenator. Your practitioner selects a suitable combination after looking at your skin.

How is it different from a hands-on facial?

Biotec adds device-based steps to the facial experience. This can provide a more targeted approach to surface texture, hydration or the appearance of firmness. It does not make a hands-on facial less valuable; the right choice depends on your skin and what you enjoy.

Which concerns can I discuss?

Dullness, dehydration, uneven surface texture, congestion and early visible changes in skin quality are useful starting points. Persistent redness, inflamed acne or unexplained pigmentation may need a different assessment before a facial is chosen.

Is Biotec suitable for sensitive skin?

Sometimes, with an adapted plan. Please describe previous reactions, eczema, rosacea or current irritation when booking. Sensitivity is a reason to tailor products and techniques carefully, rather than assume every part of the treatment will suit you.

Can I have it during pregnancy or with a pacemaker?

Contact the clinic before booking. Pregnancy, implanted electrical devices and some health conditions can rule out particular technologies. We will review the treatment with you and discuss whether a different facial would be more appropriate.

How long should I allow?

Allow around an hour for the facial, with time to discuss your skin. The appointment duration shown in your booking is the guide for your chosen service; let us know in advance if you are visiting for a particular concern.

Will I need a course?

You can discuss a single facial or a longer-term plan. Frequency depends on your response, routine and priorities. We will explain any suggested course before you commit, without promising a fixed result from a set number of appointments.

What happens afterwards?

Skin may feel refreshed and smoother, although individual responses vary. Keep your routine gentle, use the sun protection advised and avoid adding strong exfoliants immediately afterwards unless your practitioner recommends them. Contact us if a reaction is persistent or worsening.

Can it be combined with laser, peels or microneedling?

Treatments may form part of the same plan, but timing matters. Tell us what you have had recently and what is booked next. We will advise on spacing rather than assuming multiple treatments should take place together.
